PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus capable of calculating the target space distribution highly precisely while acquiring the unit scan information in a certain time. SOLUTION: The radar apparatus acquires n pieces of unit scan information by performing n times unit scan while the scan directional vector P scans from A<SB>1</SB>to A<SB>8</SB>. In the respective unit scan information, the azimuth angle and elevation angle are related to each other, therefore while changing both the azimuth angle and the elevation angle of the scan directional vector P the unit scan information can be obtained. Thereby, between the scan vector P from A<SB>1</SB>to A<SB>8</SB>, the interval without acquiring unit scan information is not necessitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
