PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device for an engine having a structure for controlling a generated thermal stress, and having a ceramic member and at least one metal member. SOLUTION: The combustion device has the ceramic member such as a ceramic combustor liner, and at least one metal support member such as a metal ring or a plurality of metal cones for supporting the ceramic member in the radial direction and in the axial direction.
