PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device with a valve plate having a degree of freedom during valve opening/closing motion for closely contacting the seat faces of two valve seats opposed to each other while easily following them, having greatly improved valve closing function and being economically manufactured with reduced adjusting work. SOLUTION: A planetary gear 4a is ring-shaped and two valve plates 3 are installed in a hole portion 4b thereof while partially opposing each other. Thus, a planetary gear mechanism actualizes quick opening/closing operation and requires a smaller installation space to be occupied. The valve device has greatly improved valve function and productivity while reducing the conventional operating force of a partition valve and eliminating the need for adjusting work to secure valve closing function.
