PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality cast product by preventing the lowering of temperature of a mold at the transporting time. SOLUTION: Exothermic bodies 31, 32 are set in the periphery of the mold 1 and a runner 11 taken out from a burning furnace, and the mold 1 is transported to a casting apparatus while heating the mold 1. A transporting vessel is provided with a base table 21 for laying the mold 1 and a cover body 22 covering on the base table 21 so as to cover this mold 1, wherein the exothermic bodies 31, 32 are arranged on the base table 21 and in the inner periphery of the cover body 22.
