A light emitting type electro-wetting display device is provided to display images by controlling the surface size of fluid by coating phosphors on a substrate and using an electro-wetting effect. A first and second substrates(100,200) are arranged in parallel to each other at a predetermined interval. A first and second fluids(311,312) are positioned between the first and second substrates. At least, one of the first and second fluids has conductive polarity. The first and second fluids are not mixed with each other. A first and second electrodes(321,322) are used for applying voltages to the first and second fluids. An insulating layer(331) is positioned between the first and second fluids. A light emitting layer having a light emitting material pattern is formed on the inner surface of the first substrate. |
