<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method of acquiring a correction value of a density whereby the correction value exerting a high-density correction effect can be acquired regardless of a rotating angle of a transfer roller. <P>SOLUTION: The method of acquiring the correction value of the density is provided for correcting the density of an image printed by forming dot trains along a movement direction at each row region arranged in an intersection direction, for each row region. The method includes a step of printing a pattern for correction so that an arrangement of nozzles assigned to the row regions changes making a predetermined number P of the row regions continuous in the intersection direction one period, a step of acquiring a read value of the density by reading the density of the pattern for correction at each row region, and a step of obtaining the correction value of the row region on the basis of the read values of the row regions of an amount i×P (i is a natural number) nearest to M when M is the number of row regions corresponding to a transfer amount of a medium in one rotation of the transfer roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
