<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector style headlight for vehicles capable of improving appearance in a non-lighting state. <P>SOLUTION: This projector style headlight for vehicles 1 comprises a light bulb 9 having a light source 9a for emitting light which is included in a lamp housing 3 formed with a transparent cover 21 and a lamp body 20, a reflector 10 for reflecting the emitted light from the light source 9a, a shade 11 for cutting off a part of reflected light from the reflector 10, and a projection lens 5 for projecting the light reflected by the reflector 10 ahead of the vehicle. The shade 11 has a incline 13 which is inclined from an upper end 11a positioned near the second focal point P2 of the reflector 10 to an lower end 11b positioned near the projection lens 5, and light reflecting treatment is performed on the projection lens 5 side surface of the incline 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
