<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home page monitoring system capable of searching a page (Web data) having desired articles in a home page selected by a user, searching the Web data when the Web data are updated afterwards and informing the user of the update content. <P>SOLUTION: A client 2 transmits his or her desired keyword suitable for a retrieval theme and the address of his or her desired home page to a retrieval proxy server 1, and the retrieval server, which is provided with a retrieval result database 30 where Web data retrieved from a Web server on the Internet are stored, acquires the Web data of a page having predetermined correlation with the home page, and detects new Web data including the keyword which are not included in the retrieval database as data for update. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
