PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic device, providing reduced size of the device and waterproofing and being capable of efficiently using the battery. SOLUTION: A release unit 40, provided with a release button 18, is detachably formed from a camera body 10 and can be used as a remote controller. When the release unit 40 is attached to the camera body 10, power is supplied to the release unit 40 from the camera body 10 in a non-contact manner, through electromagnetic induction, and the releasing battery provided to the release unit 40 is charged.
