PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge body for ion generation capable of efficiently generating ion, a manufacturing method of the same, and an ion generating device. SOLUTION: The discharge body for ion generation is provided with a guiding electrode 2, a dielectric 3 formed on the guiding electrode 2, and a discharge electrode 4 formed on a surface of the dielectric 3. an end part of the discharge electrode 4 has an area overlapping with an area of the guiding electrode 2 through the dielectric 3. The dielectric 3 has a dielectric convex part 5 protruding from the surface of the dielectric 3 on which the discharge electrode 4 is formed.
