PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room name display device by which a room name is displayed at a sleeve part of an entrance of a room, etc. stably and on a high note and replacement of doorplates in accordance with change of dwellers is easily performed. SOLUTION: The device 1 is constituted by providing a main frame 8 consisting of a substrate 5 for fixing the device to a mounting plate 13 mounted on a mounted surface 3 and a front plate 7 having a perspective window 7a arranged opposite to the substrate 5 via a spacer 6 for making a flat space 9 with a pressure means 11 for pressing a doorplate 10 removably inserted into the main frame 8 to the front plate 7 side, displays the room name at the sleeve part of the entrance of the room, etc. on a high note and stably, easily performs replacement by the change of dwellers or change of display content, etc. and clearly displays the display content.
