PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving apparatus and driving method for electron emission device capable improving uniformity of video image quality by performing gamma correction and white balance correction of each gray level. SOLUTION: The driving apparatus for the electron emission device includes a control part 310 for receiving an external video data signal, generating and outputting a first count clock or a second count clock or a third count clock corresponding to the signal and a data driving part 320 for receiving one of the first count clock or the second count clock or the third count clock to be outputted from the control part 310, modulating a pulse width of the received video data signal and outputting the video data signal.
