PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a cooling water pump which prevents deterioration of pump efficiency due to the stay of air by surely executing the bleeding of air in a cooling water pump without specific air bleeding operation through the control of the increase in the number of parts and air bleeding piping man-hours without requiring specific member such as an air bleeding pipe with a cock for air bleeding and a connection member. SOLUTION: In a cooling water pump which is mounted in an end of an engine body and in which an inlet chamber on an impeller intake side and an outlet chamber on an impeller discharge side are formed in a pump case so as to be separated with partition walls, an air bleeding passage for communicating between the upper portion of the outlet chamber and the inlet chamber is perforated in the partition wall so that air in the outlet chamber is released to the inlet chamber through the air bleeding passage.
