PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic syrup seldom causing foaming in it's getting solidified. SOLUTION: A method for producing the acrylic syrup is provided, comprising polymerizing methyl methacrylate singly or its mixture with another vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator to a polymerization degree of 1-50 mass%, wherein more than 25 pts.mass of a condensation liquid among 100 pts.mass thereof produced during the polymerization reaction is discharged out of the reaction system.
