PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag overlapping body allowing a clerk in charge of the casher to bag a commodity in a basket brought to a cash register table while performing the input in the cash register, and not requiring labor of a customer to bag the commodity. SOLUTION: In the bag overlapping body A with a plurality of plastic-made bags 1 overlapping each other, each bag 1 consists of a front wall 2, a rear wall 3, and right and left fold parts 4, 4 interposed between right and left ends of the front and rear walls 2, 3. A mouth part 5 is formed on an upper end of each bag 1, a handle 6 is formed on the right and left sides of the mouth part 5, and tabs 7, 8 projecting upwardly from the front and rear walls 2, 3 are formed on a bottom of the mouth part 5. A handle supporting cutout is formed in each handle 6, and a tab supporting cutout 10 is formed in the tabs 7, 8. The bags 1 are joined with each other in a separable manner by forming a local compression part K by overlapping the bags each other and locally pressing against each other at a predetermined part by a pressing means.
