PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying apparatus capable of shortening time required for drying a coating film by uniformly and rapidly increasing the temperature of a body of an automobile. SOLUTION: The drying apparatus 1 for drying the coating film by blowing hot air to the body 40 of the automobile moving along a movement path formed inside a furnace body 2 includes: a lower part hot air blowing means for blowing the hot air to the lower surface side part of the body 40; an inner part hot air blowing means for blowing the hot air to the inner part of the the body 40 from the left side of the movement path through a front opening part 40a of the body 40; and an exhaust means for exhausting the hot air blown to the body 40 to the outside from the right side of the movement path.
