PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize structure, to continuously filter contaminated liquid, and to recover and dispose of solid matter attached to a filter together with the filter. SOLUTION: A supply roller 20 and a discharge roller 30 synchronously rotatable with a filter drum 10 are disposed at a position proximate to the upper part of the filter drum 10 which is rotated in a liquid-tight state in a contaminated liquid tank 2 storing contaminated liquid containing a mixture of solid and liquid. A blinding member 40 is disposed in the filter drum for intercepting communication between the inside of the contaminated liquid tank and the inside of the filter drum between both rollers. A filter 4 drawn out of the roll body 3 is wound around the filter drum via the supply roller, and formed recoverably on the outside of the contaminated liquid tank via the discharge roller. By rotation of the filter drum and both rollers, the filter is continuously wound around the filter drum and moved, and solid in the contaminated liquid is separated from liquid by a negative pressure by a negative pressure generating means, to recover the solid attached to the filter together with the filter.
