<p>An apparatus for recovering refrigerant of an air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to install a solenoid valve and a capillary tube between high and lower pressure pipes to recover refrigerant and oil, thereby reducing noise on recovering the refrigerant. An apparatus for recovering refrigerant of an air conditioner an outdoor unit(10), a plurality of indoor units(20a,20b,20c,20d), a high pressure gas pipe(37), a low pressure gas pipe(38), a high pressure liquid pipe(39), and a refrigerant recovering pipe(35). The high pressure gas pipe, the low pressure gas pipe, and the high pressure liquid pipe separately connects the outdoor unit to the plurality of indoor units. The refrigerant recovering pipe is installed between the high pressure gas pipe and the low pressure gas pipe to bypass the refrigerant in the high pressure gas pipe to the low pressure gas pipe.</p> |
