<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile broadcast receiver and a received time correction method capable of adaptively correcting a scheduled reception time of a broadcast wave. <P>SOLUTION: A table of a storage section 6 registers in advance a scheduled time of receiving the broadcast wave. When a present time counted by a clock section 8 comes to the scheduled time registered on the table, a reception section 1 in a stop state is started to try the reception of the broadcast wave. When the reception section 1 succeeds in the reception of the broadcast wave and acquires time data such as a TOT included in the received signal, the reception section 1 corrects the time of the clock section 8 on the basis of the acquired time data and the reception section 1 comes to a stop until a succeeding schedule time. On the other hand, when the reception section 1 cannot receive the broadcast wave at the scheduled time, a prescribed delay time is added to the scheduled time, and the reception section 1 is set again to a stop state.
