<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a paired electron spin under a more quantum entanglement state. <P>SOLUTION: Either of four kinds of spin states is generated by injecting electrons at every one to each quantum dot after a control voltage applied to the quantum dot 1 and the quantum dot 2 is set at a first voltage, and the control voltage is set at a second voltage. The first voltage is such a voltage that the state that one electron occupies each quantum dot is more stable in terms of energy than the state that two electrons occupy one of the quantum dots; and the second voltage is such a voltage that the reverse state is stable. The control voltage is reset at the first voltage after a fixed time prescribed on the basis of the generation of differences in energy relaxation times under four kinds of spin states. Accordingly, the quantum entanglement state not only in a spin singlet state but also in a spin triplet state can be generated surely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
