<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission for preventing wear between a loading nut and the back face of an input side disc while suppressing the deformation of the input side disc at its radial inside portion (its inner peripheral face side portion). <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal continuously variable transmission, an outer peripheral face 1a of an input shaft 1 is fitted to the front side of an inner peripheral face 2c of a second input side disc 2 and a stepped portion 1b provided on the outer peripheral face 1a of the input shaft abuts on a stepped portion 2b provided on the inner peripheral face 2c of the second input side disc 2. An insertion member 200 is inserted between the loading nut 9 and the back face of the second input side disc 2, and the outer peripheral face of an annular protruded portion 200a provided on the insertion member 200 is fitted to the rear side of the inner peripheral face 2c of the second input side disc 2 and the outer peripheral face 1a of the input shaft 1 is fitted to the inner peripheral face of the annular protruded portion 200a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
