PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual power switching power supply having a standby power supply circuit and a main power supply circuit, and reducing a standby power consumption. SOLUTION: The switching power supply 1 includes a first power supply 36 for supplying a standby power output, a second power supply 37 for supplying a main power output, a power supply controller 38 disposed between switching control circuits 6, 36 in the first and second power supplies and supplying a drive voltage of the control circuit 6 in the first power supply to the control circuit 26 in the second power supply, and a switch apparatus 23 connected to the power supply controller 38, interrupting a drive voltage supplied to the control circuit 26 in the second power supply by an external signal during standby and stopping the second power supply 37. An auxiliary resistor 14 is connected between output terminals in the first power supply 36 through the switch 23, and closed or opened between the output terminals in the first power supply 36 in response to closing or opening of the switch 23.
