PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of accurately removing a target mark from an image signal in a simple manner. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: a first imaging device 14 for photographing a still image; a finder optical system for confirming the photographing range of the first imaging device 14; a screen 22 with a target mark, which is formed from a translucent optical material so as to display a photometric range or a range-finding range arranged in an optical path of the finder optical system as a target mark; a second imaging device 24 arranged in the optical path of the finder optical system on the rear position of the screen 22 with the target mark; an EEPROM 32 for storing correction data corresponding to the spectral transmission factor of the target mark; and a DSP 29 for correcting brightness or colors so that an image portion of the target mark is erased from an image photographed by the second imaging device 24 on the basis of correction data stored in the EEPROM 32.
