PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handloom which can automatically upward or downward move heddles in interlock with the reciprocating movements of reeds to enable fabric-weaving works with only hands and disuses treadles to enable the works in a wheelchair state. SOLUTION: This handloom for upward and downward separating warps 3 delivered from bobbins 1 with heddles 4, 5, inserting a weft between upward and downward separated warps with a shuttle, and spacing the warps with the reeds 6 to form the fabric is characterized by alternately upward or downward move the heddles 4, 5 in interlock with the press movements of the reeds 6 in the horizontal direction.
