PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromium plated member provided with a chromium electroplating layer in which cracks are hardly caused even when being subjected to severe heat history of≥300°C. SOLUTION: Regarding the chromium plated member in which the surface of a member made of metal is provided with a chromium electroplating layer, the average diameter of crystallites in the chromium electroplating layer is≥16.0 nm, and further, the peak intensity ratio between ä211} and ä222} according to an X-ray diffraction process, (ä211}/ä222}) is≥0.10.
