PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic particles with porous surface excellent in magnetically separating capacity and high in biochemical material-bonding level, to provide a method for producing the magnetic particles, and to provide a carrier for biochemical use. SOLUTION: The magnetic particles with porous surface are such that each thereof comprises a core(A) and a porous shell(B), wherein the core(A) and/or the shell(B) contain(s) magnetic microparticles.
