PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation capacity and a storage capacity of a URL switch by carrying out a transfer destination determination process by dividing it between a plurality of devices. SOLUTION: The computer system is provided with a plurality of servers and a packet transfer device. Each server is connected to the packet transfer device, and the packet transfer device is connected to a client terminal via a network. In the packet transfer device, a contents request is received including a hash value with a fixed length calculated from an identifier with a variable length of contents requested from the client terminal, the hash value included in the received contents request is extracted, and a server of the plurality of servers is determined as a transfer destination of the contents request on the basis of the extracted hash value.
