A method, system and equipment for realizing intercommunication between the IP domains. The method includes: first, Media Gateway Controller (MGC) transmits the corresponding IP domain information down to the Media Gateway (MG) between the IP domains, the MG receives the information required to create the media flow from the MGC, and creates the corresponding media flow according to the IP domain information, thereby realizes the intercommunication between the IP domains. Therefore, in the NGN, the MG between the intercommunicated IP domains can obtain the IP domain information that the required media flow which it will create belongs to, thereby it ensures to realize the intercommunication between the intercommunicated IP domains, and provide the great facilities for the respective network managements. |
