A ferro molybdenum producing device and a method are provided to increase the yield rate due to an effective reduction reaction by equally mixing materials in each step of a ferro molybdenum producing process and to cut down the cost. The ferro molybdenum producing device is composed of a mold(20) provided with a refractory material layer(60) formed in an inner wall to form an inner storage space and placed in or lifted up from a recessed part by a lifting unit by forming a plurality of rings(23) and an ignition unit(30) extended out of the mold through the inside of the mold to ignite potassium chlorate charged in the bottom side of the mold. Upper and lower sides of the mold are opened. Molding sand(70) is filled to block the opened lower side of the mold.
