PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for suppressing carcinogenesis effective for prevention of hereditary cancer or occupational cancer, or for prevention or the like of relapse after treatment of the cancer; and to obtain a food and drink having a function for suppressing the carcinogenesis.

SOLUTION: The oil and fat-containing composition containing an oil and fat in which hydrophobic extract of licorice is dissolved has activities for suppressing the carcinogenesis.
