<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for electrostatic inkjet capable of fixing an image of high image quality to a recording medium at a low temperature and a high speed, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for electrostatic inkjet comprises a dispersion medium, a charged particle comprising at least a colorant, and a charge adjusting agent, wherein the charge adjusting agent contains a chosen alkylphosphate.
