PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable charger that can enlarge a light receiving area of a solar battery, and can improve power generation efficiency. SOLUTION: The portable charger is characterized by comprising: a charging battery 15 that is accommodated in a charger body 11 quipped with a connecting terminal 16 connected to an external terminal of a portable information apparatus so as to be attachable and detachable, and electrically connected to the connecting terminal 16; a plurality of development panel 25a to 25c that are pivoted to the charger body 11 via hinge mechanism 24a to 24c, and can be switched to a first use mode where the panels are stacked and accommodated on the plane of the charger body 11 by turning, and a second use mode where the panels are developed outside the charger body 11; a plurality of the solar batteries 28 that are arranged on the plane of the charger body 11 that is exposed when the development panels 25a to 25c are in the second mode, and on planes of the plurality of development panels 25a to 25c, and electrically connected to the charging battery 15; and return springs 29 that are arranged at the hinge mechanisms 24a to 24c and energized in a direction wherein the plurality of development panels 25a to 25c are developed from the charger body 11 to its outside.
