PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system in which the route is set by a finger tracing the route to the destination on the display screen, and the route including a road, that cannot be passed because of traffic regulation is not set even if the route is traced by a finger. SOLUTION: The finger 31 of the passenger tracing the road arrived at the road 34, from the information of link corresponding to the road 34, the link information of the road 35 capable of approaching from the road 34 and the road 38 incapable of approaching from the road 34 is acquired. Then the display of the road 38 corresponding to the link incapable of approaching is displayed thinly. Only when the road capable of approaching is traced and the road to the destination is set.
