IMAGING UNIT, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit of a simple structure in which the assembling position accuracy of a lens array and an image sensor is high and a yield is high, a manufacturing method of the imaging unit and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging unit comprises: the lens array; a first housing joined to the side wall extended in the longitudinal direction of the lens array; a second housing connected with the first housing in the state of clamping the lens array with the first housing; and the image sensor fixed to the first housing or the second housing in the state of shielding the incidence of light other than the transmission light of the lens array to a light receiving surface by the first housing and the second housing.
