PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant voltage power supply circuit provided with an overcurrent protecting circuit which is operated at a low input voltage and can optionally set a short-circuit current. SOLUTION: Output voltage of a differential amplifier circuit A2 with small amplitude is amplitude-extended by an amplitude extension circuit constituted by an inverter circuit including an NMOS transistor M4 and a resistor R4 so as to fully swing with an amplitude between a grounding voltage to about an input voltage Vin, and inputted to a gate of a PMOS transistor M3 directly controlling an output transistor M1.
