PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device employing a selector drive system, wherein various problems caused because select switches have mutually different feedthrough voltages are solved. SOLUTION: In the select drive type active matrix liquid crystal display device 10, source voltages supplied to three buffers 14-1, 14-2, and 14-3 are forcibly controlled at driving ends of those buffers 14-1, 14-2, and 14-3 under the control of a control circuit 15 in response to a control pulse CSW input from the outside of a liquid crystal panel 16 to make drive pulses Hdrive1, Hdrive2, and Hdrive3 output from the buffers 14-1, 14-2, and 14-3 have nearly the same trailing waveform, thereby reducing variacne in adjacent feedthrough voltage among the drive pulses Hdrive1, Hdrive2, and Hdrive3 due to variance in characteristics among the buffers 14-1, 14-2, and 14-3.
