PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise-free projector device which does not require a fan by restraining temperature rise inside the housing of a liquid crystal projector device or the like, and to provide a system capable of projecting a large picture on the ceiling of a room where a bedridden person exists by using the projector device. SOLUTION: In the projector device where a light source chamber comprising a power source circuit and a light source is spatially separated from a hermetic type optical path chamber comprising a dichroic mirror, a liquid crystal panel, a dichroic prism and a projection lens, the light source chamber and the optical path chamber includes a light transmitting window, and a light shielding plate is disposed on the outside of the light transmitting window to discharge unnecessary light to the outside of the optical path chamber, whereby the light which is changed into heat in the optical path chamber being an optical block is discharged to the outside. The shape of the light source chamber is made vertical duct structure, so that a temperature rise rate in the light source chamber is reduced by the natural convection of air inside the light source chamber.
