PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition whose cured product has high optical transparency and excellent lightfastness, heat resistance and mechanical characteristics and which excels in storage stability; to provide an optical member which, using the resin composition, has high optical transparency and excellent lightfastness, heat resistance and mechanical characteristics; and to provide a method for preparing the optical member in a short time and simply. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a (meth)acrylate containing an epoxy group as a monomer component (A), a silicone oil modified with a (meth)acrylate on its one terminal as a monomer component (B), an epoxy-modified silicone as a monomer component (C), and an acid anhydride as a curing agent (D) for the epoxy.
