PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop which is used for steel piles, is not liable to foam, even when additives are sufficiently not dried, and little drips, even when coated on a vertical surface. SOLUTION: This water stop for steel piles is characterized by comprising 94 to 96 mass% of an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer and 4 to 6 mass% of polyurethane staple fibers having the following properties. Diameter (D) is 0.005 to 0.01 mm; length is 0.01 to 2.5 mm; and L/D is 1 to 500. It is preferable that the isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer has an isocyanate group content of 0.5 to 5%, uses tolylene diisocyanate as a polyisocyanate of raw material, and has a viscosity of 200 to 2,000 Pa S (at 25°C).
