PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new physical stimulation-responding non-aqueous composition without evaporating solvent and practically usable in an open system. SOLUTION: This physical stimulation-responding non-aqueous composition is provided by containing a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer having acrylamide in its skeleton, and bonding a 3-18C branched alkyl group with the skeleton, and ionic liquid. When a linear polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer without using a cross-linking agent is dissolved in the ionic liquid, the linear polymer changes reversibly between a phase separated state and dissolved state corresponding to the physical stimulation.
