PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for cachexia comprising, as an active ingredient, a substance capable of inhibiting the binding between a parathyroid hormone relating protein (PTHrP) and a receptor thereof. SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for cachexia includes an antibody against the PTHrP as an active ingredient.
