PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shirt folding shape keeping base eliminating any small-sized member such as a butterfly-shape piece causing an accidental swallowing by an infant, allowing positive shaping of a shirt collar and its keeping, eliminating work such as insertion and engagement of a base itself, allowing easiy folding work in a short period of time and not producing any wrinkles even if a long-sleeve type shirt is folded. SOLUTION: This base 1 comprises: a rectangular frame-shaped base main body 2 having four upper, lower, right and left sides; and a longitudinal collar forming band member 3 separate from the main body and extending in a lateral direction. An upward directed protrusion is cooperatively arranged at the upper side of the base main body 2, a holding section 4 is arranged continuously at the lower end of the upper side, the upper section of the holding section 4 is provided with a skirt setting section 5 and the lower side of the skirt setting section 5 is provided with a shoulder setting section 6.
