PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting bag for an electric cleaner capable of effectively deodorizing the malodor of dust over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The dust collecting bag comprises a port core 2 provided with an opening 2a for dust suction and mounted inside the electric cleaner (not shown in the figure), a bag-like body 4 for catching the sucked dust, a housing case 3 housing a granular or powder deodorant (not shown in the figure), a discharge port 3d provided on the housing case 3 for discharging the deodorant and communicating with the opening 2a, and a cover member 5 for covering the discharge port 3d. Since the deodorant is discharged from the discharge port 3d by suction air when sucking the dust and it is mixed with the dust and deposited inside the bag-like body 4, the contact area of the dust and the deodorant is extremely wide. Furthermore, since the deodorant remains until the dust collecting bag 1 is disposed or the bag-like body 4 is emptied, a deodorization effect is high and also continues for a long period of time. Additionally, by covering the discharge port with the cover member 5 during transportation, the deodorant is prevented from leaking out from the discharge port 3d, and the use of the dust collecting bag 1 is not obstructed.
