METHOD FOR CULTURING PEARL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good quality of pieces for future and further enhance quality of cultured pearl. SOLUTION: Good quality pieces are secured and quality of cultured pearl is further enhanced to contain no excessive muscular cells and mucous cells in the pieces by separating epithelial cells from epithelial tissues of the mantle membrane of a piece shellfish and using the separated epithelial cells artificially cultured in vitro as the piece transplanted into a mother shellfish with a pearl nucleus.
