The compass has a needle that is rotatably supported on it and connected with bar permanent magnets (2). The needle contains a figure (1) e.g. wooden figure, which is designed in the form of certain animals e.g. polar bear and/or penguin, bird, fruits, aircraft, ship, vehicle, bicycle, sun, globe, balloon and landscape representations. The compass is didactically designed with cardinal points. The magnets are neodymium iron boron (NeFeB) magnets and are so brought in the needle figure that the needle figure orients itself towards the north and/or south direction.
