PREPARATION METHOD OF SHORT RESPONSE TIME CARBON ELECTRODE OF SUPERCAPACITOR

A method for manufacturing a super capacitor electrode having rapid response characteristics is provided to improve the response characteristics of the super capacitor by reducing the resistivity of an electrode material of the super capacitor. A meso-phase pitch is ground to be smaller than 10 micrometer such that meso-phase pitch powders are formed. The meso-phase pitch powders are immersed into K2CO3 solution of a concentration of 2-4 mole/l. The solution is boiled, such that the meso-phase pitch powders are recollected. The meso-phase pitch powders are treated under inertia gas of a temperature between 700 and 90 degrees. The meso-phase pitch powders are cleaned, recollected, and dried.
