An antenna for wireless communication and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend an application field of the antenna by improving an electrical property of the antenna. An antenna for wireless communication includes a rectangular dielectric ceramic body(10), a first PCB(30), a second PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(35), and a shield can(40). A rectangular through-hole(12) is formed on an inner center of the rectangular dielectric ceramic body. First and second electrode patterns(20,25) are formed on an external surface of the rectangular dielectric ceramic body. The first PCB is inserted into the through-hole of the rectangular dielectric ceramic body. A conductive strip line is formed on the first PCB. The second PCB is formed to be elongated from one end of the first PCB and includes an impedance matching portion. The shield can is contacted with one surface of the second PCB.
