A process for preparing mercapto-organyl(alkoxysilanes) is provided to obtain identical conversion rate under lower reaction temperature and pressure than the prior preparation processes, so that abrasion and maintenance costs of equipment are reduced. The mercapto-organyl(alkoxysilanes) represented by the formula(2): W-A-SH are prepared by hydrogenating bis(alkoxysilylorganyl) polysulfide in the presence of at least one alcohol and doped metal catalyst, wherein W is -SiY^1Y^2Y^3 or Si(OCH2-CH2-)3N; Y^1, Y^2 and Y^3 are each independently hydroxyl, C1-C18 linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon chain, linear or branched substituted alkyl acid group(C_aH_2a+1)-C(=O)O- wherein a is 1-25, linear or branched alkenyl acid, group(C_bH_2b-1)-C(=O)O- wherein b is 2-25, linear or branched substituted alkyl or alkenyl acid group, C5-C12 unsubstituted, halogen substituted, or alkyl substituted cycloalkane radical, benzyl radical, halogen substituted or alkyl substituted phenyl radical, linear or branched alkoxy group, C5-C12 cycloalkoxy group, halogen substituted or alkyl substituted phenoxy or benzyloxy group, y is 2-25; R^I is H or alkyl group; AIK is C1-30 linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain alkyl ether group O-(CR^I_2-CR^I_2)-O-Alk or alkyl polyether group O-(CR^I_2-CR^I_2O)y-Alk; A is linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic, aromatic or mixed aliphatic/aromatic divalent C1-C30 hydrocarbon chain; and the doped metal catalyst contains at least one material selected from iron, iron compound, nickel, nickel compound, palladium, palladium compound, osmium, osmium compound, ruthenium, ruthenium compound, rhodium, rhodium compound, iridium and iridium compound, and at least one doping component.
