A memory management apparatus in a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to store data, generated in a main processor, in a flash memory connected to a sub memory, thereby efficiently using memory in the mobile terminal. In a mobile terminal having main and sub processors(110,120) to which dedicated flash memories(111,121) are connected, a memory management apparatus in the mobile terminal comprises a task unit(122) which writes or reads arbitrary data on or from the flash memory(121) connected to the sub processor(120) by a request of the main processor(110). The task unit(122) has a management table which records information about corresponding data when storing the data in the sub memory by the request of the main processor(110).
