A method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving information of an uncoded channel in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system are provided to enhance a diversity gain in case of transmitting control information with one bit per a plurality of users in the OFDMS. A method for transmitting/receiving information of an uncoded channel in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system includes the steps of: applying an unitary transformation process to information of the uncoded channels(701,703); applying a subcarrier mapping to the information for increasing a diversity gain of the information to which the unitary transformation process is applied(705); and multiplexing the information to which the subcarrier mapping is applied with information of the other channel and transmitting the information(707).
